Where is the Makerspace?

The Makerspace is in the Main Library/Port Huron branch. Prints can now be picked up at select branches. When you fill out the form please select the branch you would like to pick your item(s) at.

The machines are not currently available to the public, but computers are available on the first floor to create projects using Tinkercad, PrusaSlicer, Bambu, Inkscape, or Anycubic.

Designs can be found at makerworld.com or printables.com.

What machines are in the Makerspace?

The Makerspace has the following 3D printers: 

  • Prusa MK4
  • Prusa XL
  • Prusa Core One

All machines use PLA filament only.

How much does it cost to print from the Makerspace?

Patrons with an active library card in good standing will receive 200 grams of filament free per quarter. Free grams reset each quarter. They cannot be banked.

Any request beyond 200 grams within a quarter will cost 5 cents per gram. 

How do I print something from the Makerspace?
