LAMTB service is for residents of all ages who have visual, physical, and/or reading limitations that prevent them from using standard print materials.

We offer specialized programs including Talking Books and Home Connections. Applications are required for these services.

HOME CONNECTIONS
The St. Clair County Library System is pleased to offer the Home Connections Program. This program provides services to residents who are unable to get to the library because of:
- Long term illness
- Recovery from surgery or illness of 6 weeks or longer
- Non‐driver status
- Physical challenge
- Problems getting out in the winter

BOOKMOBILE
The St. Clair County Library Bookmobile is our branch on wheels!
The bookmobile offers traditional library services like checking out books, movies, video games and more, as well as issuing library cards.
LOCAL HISTORY & GENEALOGY
SCCLS maintains various historical and genealogical resources both physically and online. Some resources are held at local branches, but the Michigan Room, located in the lower level of the Main Library, is the most extensive collection in the system.
General hours for the Michigan Room are Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Wi-Fi AND COMPUTER SERVICES
SCCLS offers computers for public use and Wi-Fi at all locations.
Wi-Fi hotspots are also available for checkout.
Printing and scanning services are available at all branches.

Both physical and digital resources are available to support children and their caregivers in learning and development.

SCCLS strives to provide a safe space for teens to express themselves and explore possibilities.
Both physical and digital resources are available to meet the needs of teens across the county, and programming is developed specifically with teens in mind.
FEDERAL DEPOSITORY LIBRARY PROGRAM
The United States Government is the largest publisher in the world. It distributes materials in a variety of formats, including electronic, CD, microfiche, and paper.
As part of its publishing program, the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) distributes certain classes of Government documents free of cost to designated libraries throughout the United States and its territories.
These libraries are known as Federal depository libraries.
